Týr

Týr é uma banda feroesa que toca uma combinação de heavy metal e música folclórica, com fortes elementos de metal progressivo. A temática das letras aborda quase sempre a mitologia, a tradição e a história nórdicas. Eles inicialmente tinham um contrato com a gravadora feroesa Tutl, e assinaram contrato mundial com a Napalm Records da Áustria no início de 2006. A banda se apresentou no Ragnarök Festival, na Alemanha, em dois anos consecutivos(2007 e 2008).(fonte:wikipedia)
